GET STARTED WITH LEVEL 1

AT LEVEL 1, you will focus on the development of proper form and mechanics of the core fundamental movements: Squat, Deadlift, Press, Gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. The structure of these classes will mirror our core CrossFit class but allow the coach to spend more time focusing on movements and modifications for you individually so that you feel more comfortable joining our group classes.

We encourage you to attend 10-12 Level One classes in your first month at the gym to give you the best opportunity to learn and apply what you are learning in class. During your first month of Level One class, we also encourage you to attend 3-5 group classes to help acclimate to the format of a faster paced class setting to increase your confidence and comfort level when transitioning out of Level One.

Currently our Level One class schedule is exclusive to our St. Paul location due to available class time and spatial availability. Class Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 630pm – 730pm.

  • Yes. Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. The program is modified for each person to help him or her safely become healthier and fitter. Grandparents and Olympians can perform modified versions of the same general workout. Learn More About CrossFit.

  • No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. Every workout is infinitely scalable, and designed to help you succeed, improve your fitness, and move you toward your goals.

  • No. However, if you’re new to this type of fitness, there are major long-term benefits in taking advantage of the private classes. During the 1-on-1 or group classes you will experience a briefing, a sample of coaching, the class structure, and 4-5 baseline workouts.

  • For Level 1, you can sign up for the next Level 1 Class, which can be seen on our schedule.

    For experienced CrossFitters, you can begin immediately at the next class.

  • Athletic clothing (shorts, pants, shirts), shoes, water, and a willingness to do real work.
