New to CrossFit
During your first month of CrossFit you’ll begin with 4-5, 1-on-1 or small group sessions depending on volume of new attendees. The main focus of these classes will be to develop proper form and mechanics relative to our foundational movements: Squat, Deadlift, Press, Gymnastics, and Olympic weightlifting. The structure of these sessions will mirror our core CrossFit class but allow the coach to spend more time focusing on movements and modifications for you individually so that you feel more comfortable joining our group classes.
Q: Do I need to be in shape or have a specific level of fitness to join?
A: Absolutely not.
Q: What should I bring to class?
A: Athletic clothing (shorts, pants, shirts), shoes, water, and good questions!
Q: What does a class look like?
A: A brief introduction about the workout with tips and scaled options, a full warm up, and the workout of the day.
Q: Do I need Level One, or am I able to jump right into group classes?
A: No. However, if you’re new to this type of fitness there are major long-term benefits in taking advantage of the private classes. During the 1-on-1 or group classes you will experience a briefing, a sample of coaching, the class structure, and 4-5 baseline workouts.
Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost is $195. This includes your 1-on-1 or small group sessions. Once you are done with these handful of classes you can attend regular group class for the rest of that month at no additional charge. Please communicate with your coach who may encourage you to attend regular group class during your level one time.
