On the minute, every other minute, for 12 minutes:
1 Snatch + 2 Hang Snatch
Athletes are encouraged to increase and decrease weight as needed to ensure maximizing the number of quality reps made.
10 Rounds for time:
1 Snatch (185/133)
10 M – Standing Broad Jumps
The loading on this workout, given the movement, is substantial. Remember, intensity is dependent on how much work one can do and the time it takes them to do it. Thus, the snatch is a very intense movement. Also remember that intensity is a relative concept – it is relative to each person’s unique physiological and psychological limitations. Athletes should push the loading on this workout right up to the point of being anxious about the rep, but this weight will be very different for different people. Each lift should demand a tremendous amount of focus regardless of the loading. I anticipate many athletes missing 2-3 reps throughout the workout. For those who struggle with the full movement, do not be afraid to segment things into a power snatch plus an overhead squat.
