The objective of this rep scheme is to increase loading with each set. Rest approximately 2 minutes between efforts. An athlete with a 135 lb. 1RM might load their bar like this: 2@ 105, 2@115, 2@125, 1@130, 1@135, 1@135+.
800 M Farmer Carry (~72/~53)
Walk, run, skip. The objective is to carry (2) 72 lb. objects 800 M as fast as possible. Kettlebells must be held at the athlete’s side — i.e. cannot be slung over the shoulder, placed into a backpack, hung between the legs etc.
For clarification, this workout is designed to represent the world of odd objects. Carrying (2) 35 lb. KBs in each hand works. Carrying dumbbells works. Carrying loaded barbells works. Carrying a barbell in one hand and a KB in the other works. Just grab something heavy and take an 800 M walk. Walk fast.
