Rest as close to 20 seconds between sets as possible. This means that the bar is off the rack and on your shoulders at the 25 second mark and that you’re done with your double at the 30 second mark. The whole 8×2 sequence should only take 4 minutes to get through. Chose loads accordingly, as the fatigue will be much greater than doubles with unlimited rest time between efforts.
