16 Rounds, each for maximum repetitions, alternating between movements, with 90 seconds rest between rounds:
30 Seconds – Power Cleans (135/93)
30 Seconds – Burpees
The workout is less confusing than it seems. 3… 2… 1… Go! Pick up the barbell and do as many power cleans as you possibly can in 30 seconds. That’s one round. Upon completing that first 30 second round, athletes will rest precisely 90 seconds (the clock will run to 2 minutes) at which point round two (another 30 second interval) will begin. In round two you athletes will complete as many burpees as possible in 30 seconds before, yet again, reseting precisely 90 seconds. Round three will be power cleans again, with burpees following up in round four. In the end, athletes will have completed exactly 8 30-second intervals of power cleans, and 8 30-second intervals of burpees.
The score will be your total reps of both burpees and power cleans combined. This way, counting is easy.
